Following your feedback to the recent Consultation Draft RFT for TOMS, we have now released the final RFT on AusTender. As you will see, we have changed the name to TLMS (Telecommunications Lifecycle Management Services) to better reflect the tender scope. Read more
Your comments on the TOMS Draft RFT
I’d like to thank all contributors to this blog and those who emailed me directly. As this was my first experience in engaging in this way, I have appreciated the feedback on the content, format and process for the RFT. It has provided fresh ideas and suggested areas that we need to review to ensure that our tender documents are easy to understand.
Craig, Joanne, Nigel and Michael have raised several interesting ideas on how to improve tendering. Of course, this wasn’t really what we had in mind when we launched this particular post but we will look at these ideas with our colleagues in the procurement policy area within Finance. Read more
Consultation Draft RFT: TOMS
I’m Mundi Tomlinson and I am the AGIMO acting branch head responsible for the procurement of a range of whole of government IT services including desktop hardware, software licences and telecommunications. We’ve recently gone to the market for telecommunications invoice reconciliation services, mobile phones and the associated carriage, and internet based network connections.
